Nathan has worked as public servant for over 20 years at both the State and Commonwealth levels, across a wide range of policy areas including Innovation Policy, Energy Regulation, Out of Home Care and Child Protection, Domestic and Family Violence, Social Housing and Aboriginal Affairs. He currently works in the Office of the Deputy Secretary for Aboriginal Affairs and Outcomes in the Department of Premier and Cabinet, focusing on Strategic Policy issues for the Aboriginal Affairs portfolio.  Nathan holds a Masters degree in Public Policy from ANU, specialising in Social Policy.
