As 2024 comes to a close, we‘re grateful to our government and university partners, supporters, and collaborators who have contributed to another impactful year galvanising evidence-based policymaking in Australia. Together, we have made significant strides, helping policymakers tackle some of Australia’s most pressing challenges, harnessing the expertise and insights from world-leading experts.

Among the many highlights, JMI awarded nine grants to researchers focused on housing, the transition to a Net Zero economy, and social equity with a celebration at The Mint. We welcomed the University of Wollongong to our partnership, which will further strengthen our collective impact. We delivered a wide range of critical projects to government, including on child protection and out-of-home care, heralded as the “guiding light” for future government reform.
